The Czech 15th Annual Business Media Publishing “Zlatý středník” ⃰ Awards ceremony was held at Hotel Marriot, Prague on April 20, 2017. 14 Gold Award winners were announced at the gala evening from a total of 16 categories. The winners from each category were selected by an independent jury composed of leading experts in communication, marketing, and PR.

ZOOT Magazine received two awards, right away, with a first place in the Best B2C Magazine and Newspaper category, and second place in the Best Business Magazine in the FMCG and Retail Sector category.

“We’re obviously delighted with the awards because they’re proof that what we’re doing, we’re doing well. Moreover, we do not see ZOOT Magazine as just our marketing tool, where we present our fashion and products, and a place where we build our identity, but also as the place where we can tell the stories we want people to know in our own particular way. And it’s the stories that we enjoy the most!” said Thea Kučerová, the Editor-in-Chief of ZOOT Magazine.

Since April 2015 ZOOT Magazine is published in 3 countries – the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Romania. It is a bimonthly magazine with a print circulation of 87 000 copies. All three language editions together make up a total of 180 pages and are the result of a staff team compromising of 15 people. Its cover pages often feature celebrities from each given country. The Czech editions have featured, among others, the renowned actress Aňa Geislerová, the rock star, David Koller, and the actor Vojta Dyk.

Apart from its wide distribution network (which totals over 400 different locations in the Czech Republic such as cafes and fitness centres) customers can pick up the magazine in any of ZOOT’s 39 Try&Buy stores– 20 are located in the Czech Republic, 10 in Slovakia, and 9 in Romania.
