ZOOT wins the Mastercard Millennials Retailer of the Year 2017 Award
The Mastercard Retailer of the Year Award’s categories are fully updated and reviewed every year. This year, one of the new additions was the Millennials Retailer of the Year Award. Its aim is to recognise and reward a retailer that is popular among the 20 to 30-year-old age group and whose store is perceived very differently among young respondents when compared to other respondents. Retailers that were nominated for the Millennials category ranked 1st to 3rd place in separate Award’s categories. The retailer with the greatest positive difference between the way it is seen by millennials and by all other respondents was announced the winner.
“We greatly appreciate such an award. We like to approach fashion and customer experience from a slightly different angle, and this award is proof for us that we’re heading in the right direction. Though we don’t perceive customers in the 20 to 30-year-old age group as all that different to our other customers, we’re aware of their modern technology preferences and that’s something we’re keeping up with,” said Andrea Burgerová, ZOOT’s PR Manager.
The winners of each category were determined on the basis of results of an online survey conducted by the company GfK Czech. The survey was conducted on a sample of 2,000 respondents across the whole of the Czech Republic. Among the evaluated fields was a respondents spontaneous naming of the store, the number of respondents who shop there, their loyalty to the store, their confidence and their customer satisfaction in individual areas such as products available, product quality, and a clear, user-friendly layout.
