International Autism Day falls on April 2. And it was on this day that ZOOT, the leading online fashion store in the Czech Republic, launched a special collection within its DOBRO (DO GOOD) charity project. The collection arose from ZOOT partnering up with AutTalk Foundation, which is a fund set up by the czech model Kateřina Sokolova.
Matěj is 12 years old and he loves the underground. He designs underground routes for existing and imaginary cities. Last year, his drawings were used for the Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week collection, which was created by designers Kateřina Geislerová, Tereza Vu and Michal Kováčik.
As from Saturday March 2, a special bed sheets collection is on sale at ZOOT. The bed sheets carry the youngster’s design of an underground and were sewn by seamstresses from the Borůvka Praha Sheltered Workshop for the Disabled. Proceeds from the sale will go to the AutTalk Fund.
“I’m delighted that we’ve teamed up with ZOOT because support of this project will mean that public awareness of autism in the Czech Republic will increase a bit more, yet again,” said Kateřina Sokolová.
